Relocated

Dear Diary,

I had to have Matt relocate the suet feeder to the porch as it was getting to difficult for me to make it to the tree.  This little finch seems a bit miffed by the relocation.  I suspect most of the birds prefer the tree location but it is here, little ones, or nothing!  I can't risk slipping on the ice.

Rain right now and very mild temperatures.  Matt will be here later this morning to chop ice off the back roof.  It gets no sun and  ice builds up.  We are expecting a big storm on Thursday, 12+ inches so preparations must be made.

Emerson was delighted to see me come home.  I was happy to be home too...home to the peace and quiet of our little house.
