Morning run

Seizing the moment - or babysitting - we went out for another run this morning - together, this is a rare treat these days!  Granny was left with a toddler for her breakfast date and a promise that the 'other one' was sleeping.  Thankfully he remained in this state. 

Burghley park was looking absolutely magical and the day just screamed at you to be outside and never go home, alas, we had to and loved our start to the day. 

This afternoon was spent with a very special friend who is living in New York, a true kindred spirit, we spent the afternoon in the local rather fine hotel drinking hot chocolate and catching up on everything we could in the short space of time we had.  There was never going to be enough time, but we crammed most things in. A trip to New York beckons in the summer and I can't wait.
