Annual

.... Music time with Jaden. For the last 6 Christmases we have enjoyed a wonderful festive time with our lovely blipper friends, Vic, John and kids. Part of this has always included Katie and jaden playing about on the piano. Last year Katie loved being able to actually play on the piano and show Jaden her Eb clarinet for the first time and play him a couple of little two note exercises. This year she played her Bb clarinet and John wrote a bass guitar part for jaden to play with her. John played piano. They had a glorious time together.

Before we went to them, we'd done another of our annual visits to our friends who have a small holding. I looked after the kids when they were all tiny and now they are big lads who love Katie visiting and taking her to the animals, playing with her and have adopted her as honorary sister. She loves it just as much. They were all delighted too as elderly grandma who doesn't do much of anything insisted joining us all to go up to the animals. She's never done that in her time living there- the draw of enthusiastic little people is rather appealing, it seems! It was such a lovely day and we even managed to fit in a sea front walk & drink with Granny & Grandad!
