Country Kitchen

Not quite, but I felt there was a need to do something with the plain wall at the end of our kitchen diner and floating shelves made of old sleepers is what I opted for. I envisage an assortment of kitchenalia sitting on the shelves, most of it being useful rather than purely decorative and therefore providing much needed storage space.

Got a bit of painting done as well but the 6 nations is calling so I've downed tools. I'll do a bit more tomorrow but that's it for 2 weekends as we have a full on eating and drinking weekend coming up. Dinner with uncle Harold on Friday, uncle Harold for dinner on Saturday and the Jay Raj on Sunday for mother's day. Bring it on, I've already loosened my belt in readiness.
