Morning light

Slept pretty well last night....up earlyish, as we were expecting a charity to collect our dining room table and chairs, it's seen better days, but hopefully some else will get a few more years out of it. A new one coming shortly :-)

We took a walk into town, pleasant today. Posted my cousins scarf back to him, it got left behind, after mums funeral.....might need it soon, looking at the weather forecast over the next few days. Stopped off for a coffee, that turned into lunch, in Reds Cafe ;-)

Once back home, hub washed the car, I tried to capture the birds on our various feeders......not very successful as you can see from today's blip! Our miscanthus grass, which I like to leave as is until February time, before cutting it back. Morning light is the name of the grass......rather than it being a morning photo. I did a little bit of cutting back in the garden, to,fill up our garden bin as it's due to be emptied tomorrow.

Made cauliflower cheese to go with pork chop and roast potatoes for dinner.....it's smelling quite nice in the kitchen just now. Did some laundry.......took down our Christmas tree and decorations last night and now that the table and chairs has gone the house is looking rather bare!

Still trying to hide various treats left over from Christmas to stop us nibbling at them......some have found their way into the bin.....shhhhh!!
