Another lovely bright cold winters day.

We went looking at televisions this morning. We didn't buy each other much in the way of Christmas presents as we agreed a new tv would be a joint treat early in the new year. What a mind boggling chore it's turning out to be! Ultra Hd, Hd, Smart tv, OED, quantum dot, hd free view, hd satellite, 49" or bigger, flat or curved screen, stand or wall mount, Samsung, Lg, Sony, Panasonic.......arghhhhh! Needless to say we haven't bought one yet!

On our way home we stopped off at the Three Sisters Recreation and Nature reserve, such a simple pleasure after that techno onslaught :-)
Really cold, half the lake was frozen, so we had swimmers, skaters and gliders.

We both liked this shot of these beautiful swans gliding very close to the bank.........if you look closely there is an imposter in their convoy, maybe one day he will turn into a beautiful swan ;-) I'm sure Helena aka BVL33 (https://www.blipfoto.com/BVFL33) will have something to say about this though ;-)

We spent the afternoon catching up on other chores, mostly indoors.

Off out for a meal pre quizzing as it's the first Thursday in the month, Chinese tonight. Hopefully we can start our 2017 money fund off on a good note ;-) mind youmhavent spent last years winnings yet, we cancelled our planned meal in December for obvious reasons. Need to rearrange that soon!
