The not ready one

I took a shot straight after this one, where everyone was ready... I remembered to put my flash on, and the girls arranged themselves a bit better. But somehow I preferred this shot, the unready one. I had to mess about with it quite a lot, but I quite like the grainy outcome for some reason.

From left to right is recently married Sam, Verity who used to live over the road from us, but has now moved back to the UK, and Jodie who is expecting a baby. The occasion was a BBQ for Verity and husband Martin, who are here on holiday. They have been greatly missed since they left us for "home".
