Homeward bound
I had a mini work party at the nature reserve this morning - just me and four other volunteers who are retired, coppicing hazel in a neglected part of the wood. We finished at lunch-time (hence the 'mini' as we normally go on until about 4pm) and I stayed on for a while taking photographs. It was still quite early in the afternoon when I took this, as I walked back to my car, but the sun was already very low, casting wonderful shadows across the beech leaves.
