or at least one i don't know - i have had my eye on this little beauty for - the last week or so - it has been flitting through the trees - as the snows & winds have blown through - but today was the 1st time i was able to actually - get a bead on it as it took a quick break on a branch for - a mere moment between gathering berries - i've never seen it before in the courtyard - usually we get robins, magpies and an occasional jay - along with those sweet chick-a-dees

i know this isn't the best shot - i was doing that bird watching thing with miss mollie-boo through the window - so that's strike 1, then the lighting is just all wrong - but hey, i am all about the story in my journal - what grabs me and tugs at my heart - which is what i like to post - i know if i stay in line with those principles even if it's not - going to win any grand prize it will make for...
