Early flowers

With heated greenhouses and international travel we've become so used to having things out of season.

Having tulips ahead of the daffodils is unusual. But even in tha ga den we have our first crocus (ahead of the snowdrops) and the early flowering rhododendron has had a blood m since Hogmanay. If I get a chance before the frosts and snows come I'll try and blip.

Today at work involved catching up and discussing plans for a Saturday later in the month to meet young people on the Care Council. Then a marathon session with the senior team looking at how we bridge the gap between our anticipated flat line funding next year (which in the current climate is not a bad result) and all our ambitions. No easy answers.
