More Glaucous Gulls

A brief stroll on Baleshare and the rarest of sightings - two other birders there. The v smelly dead whales have pulled in some Glaucous Gulls and there is now a total of ten there of various ages and plumages.
We did however get caught in one of those hailstorms form which the expression about poking needles into my eye must have been based on. Thirty seconds out in it and I had had far too much.
A discussion in the afternoon then about the extension we hope to build on our house here - could make quite a difference!
