Cheeky

Near the downtown lake,
I had this stare down with the drake.
It was perhaps a mistake,
'cuz my eyes...they started to ache.

So, for my eyeballs sake,
I quit staring at Jake the drake.
I gave my eyelids a break,
and instead...went...home...to...bake.

Please do not critique-y,
my encounter with the cheeky.
My staring skills are weak-y...
have to work on my technique-y.
