You wouldn't think it, but this chap was rather shy in front of the camera. Well, at least for me. Perhaps I need to improve my "persuading big burly blokes for a portrait" technique. We had a lovely lunch at his establishment, which even had a small but perfectly well made soft play area for our kids.

Earlier our daughter had her final dance practise for the Edinburgh Mela next Saturday. Fortunately, her teacher only needed to do the odd tweak and tuning to the dancers, so it looks like everything should be fine for the big day. Whatever happens, we know our daughter worked very hard and we'll be so proud of her appearing in another dance show.
