Losing My Mind
Looks like the Toronto Sun's sub editors still need spelling lessons (LOOK HERE). . .
Lack of dictionaries aside, I can't figure out how the paper manages to maintain its grip on the area's working class readership (although its less-than-a dollar-a-week 7-day subscription rate is, perhaps, a partial explanation). The Sun's hard-right editorial stance seems diametrically opposed to the real concerns of its overworked, underpaid and uncertain-of-the-future readers, but its vehement anti-socialist, union-bashing message is amazingly successful.
Just listening to poorly-paid readers, who need three jobs to pay their bills, whine about the need to cut the wages paid to 'greedy' unionised local government workers who still manage to get a half-decent hourly wage with pension benefits is enough to make you want to run screaming into the street, YOU'VE GOT IT ALL WRONG, YOU FOOLS!!!!! JOIN THE UNION AND FIGHT FOR WHAT THEY GET!!!
On the other hand, I could just get out of the heat (it's nearly 40 degrees here today) and have a long, cool, soothing drink and think of kinder, gentler Blips)
