One For The Birds

Kinder, gentler Blip today after yesterday's heat-inspired rant . . .

But it was just as warm today when we went into Toronto to catch the final day of the International Street Busker Contest. Didn't hang around too long, though: Too hot, too crowded, too predictable. The rest of day was grand, apart from Jools's mutterings about sore feet and lack of food . . .

Best part (apart from the food break), came in the subway carriage on our way back to the station, where we found a grey parrot and his friends ignoring the 'No Pets Or You Die' rule. (We might not have been so appreciative, of course, if they'd brought in a pet donkey . . . )
