Birsay Wave (Day 612)

The dogs thoroughly enjoyed their walk up the hill this morning. There was a light dusting of snow on the ground, and it always seems to make them go a little bit stupid. Although it was quite chilly it was nice to be out and about with the dogs for the first time in a few days.
Back home, and after a quick coffee, I headed to town in the hope I could pick up all the stuff I need to finish the shower room I am doing. Unfortunately I will have to disappoint the customer on Monday as some stuff is still out of stock. My fault for not having it delivered in December. Apparently.
More coffee at home, and some other stuff to sort out, then I loaded the dogs into the van and headed to Birsay. I popped in to a customer on the way to do a little job, then took the dogs along the north coast. It was fabulous. Big waves and lovely light. The wind was bitterly cold, but I kept warm enough walking along with the dogs.
Sigyn, Talisker and I are now waiting patiently for the return of  my beautiful wife from her 24 hour shift.
Extra shot of a Fulmar over Westray added, just because I like it.
