Blue Monday . . .

Bad day for Jools. She spent half the morning at the dentist having root canal treatment . . . the dentist emptied her bank account . . . it rained all day . . . she can't eat anything . . . her jaw aches . . . and she has to return to have the tooth filled and crowned . . .

"We were born without teeth," she mumbled through thawing dentafreeze. "Perhaps it should stay that way; we could suck our food - and there'd be no damn dentists . . ."
