Sun After the Storm.....

Margaret and I had another scary, dramatic start to the day. We endured yet another storm with howling gale force winds and heavy horizontal rain. Around 12.30am our caravan awning started to fall apart for the second time in three days. A mixed blessing in that both Steve, his brother Ian and Emily drove to Nelson last night to spend the night there. They missed the drama. Camper friends helped take the awning poles down in torrential rain and make our situation safe. Later Jeff from Kina Campers arrived to restore the awning to its proper state. Now, in the evening, all is back to normal and we are hoping for a quiet, peaceful night.
