MonoMonday:Minimalist

Marlieske set us a great challenge this week: minimalist.
It's one I'd like to explore further but couldn't do it justice today on tour with non Blippers.
This is probably the nearest I could go with the available shots.

We had a very long day with lots of walking supplemented with an all day bus ticket.
Highlights were the Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, the Philosopher's Walk, the food markets and the Old Town.

We saw lots of gorgeous girls in traditional dress. I wonder if they are trainee geishas?
Almost without exception they were using mobile phones, mostly for taking selfies. It looked a bit incongruous with their beautiful, old fashioned kimonos.

It snowed on and off all afternoon but just flurries, not enough to settle.
I was quite warm enough and it was much nicer than sightseeing in hot weather.
