Lanterns of the Terracotta Warriors

A very enjoyable meet with some like-minded souls in Manchester today.  The most photographed location was the display of illuminated models of Terracotta Warriors, installed in Exchange Square for the Chinese New Year. Here is a shot of Beewriter taking a shot of NLN and me taking a shot of her.

Earlier we had visited the Photographic Angle exhibition, in a partially empty office building, which was underwhelming. We entertained ourselves by photographing the surrounding buildings.  

Concluding for lunch - the pub had two major drawbacks: it was freezing cold and there were no chips or mashed potatoes to go with the pies. It did serve some excellent beer and the company was most congenial.
