Leaving today

This is the end of our Christmas vacation at Terschelling.
We're on the ms. "Friesland" right now and waiting to depart.
In front of us the fast ferry "Tiger" has just arrived and its passengers are just embarking, maybe to spend the transfer from 2008 to 2009.
(I don't know the exact word in English and iGoogle could not help me....)
