Sunset at Vlieland

With the statue of the ancient discoverer Willem de Vlamingh in the front.
This statue is situated at the waterfront where the ferry moors.

We did a cycling tour around the island today.
We were lucky, the weather was really nice.

But now: we saw a lot, went also to the beach (Yesterday we were soaking wet two times during a long walk, also along the beach).
A lot of foam, like
this.

And this little bird was searching for something to eat I guess.

And Anneke (or mrs. P.) with a special furry hat was trying to picture something, while the waves were coming nearer....
No worries, she stayed dry.

So a very nice day today!
