but it's not cold!

Today we winkled ourselves away from our lovely little flat and went back west along the coastal road to a viewpoint called Slope Pont where l took this sign post. We then went to Waipapa point to the old lighthouse, fantastic views out over the southern seas and up the coast. Saw big flocks of shags and a couple of sealions loafing about in the sand. They did not make very good photos as covered with sand they looked like huge logs.
A beautiful day weather-wise, although quite a chill southerly breeze.

PS last night, sitting on our deck we watched yellow eyed penguins come up out of the water to their nests for the night.
