Day 033/17. Lunch with an immigrant.

Grey squirrels, originally from North America, were released in the United Kingdom by 19th century landowners. They are now very common and widespread with numbers continuing to increase.
This chap sat and watched me eating my lunch through the kitchen window. We have at least 1 maybe more families of greys living up in our trees. Every day we see several foraging or jumping around in the oak trees.
I know some people see them as little more that fluffy tailed rats.....but they do look cute and are very smart creatures. And they certainly have adapted brilliantly to life in the suburbs.
