Off the Perch

When the little Snowy, or the Great White egrets perch in trees, they're very easy to spot. That white sticks out like a sore thumb.

The problem for me becomes...how long do you wait to try to capture the takeoff? I usually wait until my back tells me to move.

I was 2 for 4 this morning. I missed the 2 osprey launches (out of focus), but got this one and a great white egret.
