Macro Mania

I took my morning walk without my camera. As I walked...I only felt the need for it twice. A duck attack, and a pretty monarch.

When I got home...I took out my secondary camera, loaded up with a 10x close up lens.

I think I'm getting the hang of it...just a bit. Still way too many pictures out of focus, but a few more good ones. I put 3 more photos on my Flickr page. Please identify the insect if you know.

Speaking of identifying...I don't know what this flower is, either. Nor the other 2 I put on Flickr. (Note to self...must work on flower knowledge.)

I'm off to do some travel study at my kitchen table. Farmer's market, and a concert in the gazebo later. Irish music. Hope it's good.
