Cutting it fine

This is the view today from inside the garage where we will be bringing back the grapes from tomorrow's harvest.

Yes, that's right, the terrassier is making us a driveway so we can bring the grapes in more easily. We have been waiting five weeks for this to be done, but better late than never.

Now we just need some pickers and we're ready. We've chosen a bad weekend to harvest. Everyone's already occupied so it might just take longer than we'd hoped. Oh la la. Still, the grapes are looking good. We had a colossal thunderstorm last night. Thankfully there was no hail, but the waterfall of rain has plumped up the grapes nicely.

Seems like everything is happening at the last minute.
