Walk home

We're scraping the barrel of 'things to do in half term', today was a trip into Cirencester for some chores.  This included the highlight of stopping to watch some road workers who offered the toddler a job for the day - apparently he'd be more help than some of the staff they have, I beg to differ.  The toddler has a new game - being turned in summersaults and landing on the bed, it's apparently great fun and guaranteed lots and lots of giggles.

The husband went off to visit a livery yard this morning, I had hoped to be able to go along too, but we decided that horses and small children wasn't a great mix, especially when the yard are doing the course he is on a favour.  The yard has stabling for 92 horses, and soon will be full and turning people away - polo season is approaching, or at least the build up to polo season.  He walked home after his visit - and took this picture on his way back.  We live behind the row of trees on the hill in the top of the picture, easy to forget how pretty it is around here.
