A perk

Of holidays is special time with B. Her music lessons are longer, they often involve a cup of tea and natter afterwards. Today was one of those days. She worked incredibly hard for an hours clarinet lesson and made such good work on her main audition piece. She was fantastic today. After her lesson, we munched biscuits, told all about our different weekends away. Katie showed her the cirque programme. The two of them sent crazy selfies to B's daughter. We had a great time.

We left late morning and headed home. Katie had planned to watch a movie but went to her room to play. She had a fairly late lunch before working on her piano.

A perk of the new ballet school is that they still dance in half terms so katie had dance class tonight. They'd been challenged to try get their splits all three ways by half term. She was one of only 5 to do it and was really chuffed to please her teacher, bless her. When she got back from class she still spent another half hour stretching!
