Brave

Katie fell this afternoon. She was running into the bathroom (sigh) and slipped. She said she banged her face on the sink. Her cheek and eye are quite swollen and the bruising is coming out. She screamed rather frighteningly and cried hard. It looked rather sore, bless her. But two hours later she was on her clarinet rehearsing hard. The first blow made her cry, but then she got on with it. Such a trouper! She's learning a gorgeous waltz that she can't help but dance along to as she plays. It's lovely to watch. Even Pluck and Monkey had to watch today!

We had been at Bs this morning for my music lesson and so she & I could work on the bursary application that goes with her audition tape. Katie had a happy couple of hours in charge of the remote control to Netflix. We ended up back there after Katie had fallen for arnica and cuddles. She came home and did a little more clarinet before we curled up with some TV before an early night. It's looking quite bruised now, bless her.

PS I've back blipped the last 8days now- it's been exciting!
