A quieter day

Carnaval was pure magic. I put two photos as extras on yesterday's blip. In one you can see an elegant samba dancer who looks pregnant. Such stamina.

Today was sleepily restful. I spent a gentle hour in the Poncha bar just watching the sea and eavesdropping on a fabulous Madeira/English family.

My blip is the view over to the Cristo Rei with two cooperative birds (not photoshopped)

I then went for a lovely lunch in an old favourite restaurant that has changed its name. Same lovely people and super food (Taberna Ruel in the Old Town)
