Morning walk

Trying to work out what to do today - Dirk had loads of school work to do and children (and me) needed to get out of the house.  So we combined it. The next assignment is on valuation of a local farm which also has an equestrian centre (this is always going to get my interest).  So we went out for a walk to check the place out and look at it in more detail for his assignment (the pre-text was checking out the quality of the land, fencing, buildings and the such like).  Very nice morning discussing the quality (or lack there-of) of hedges, walls and farm-land.  The big question posed is whether there is an equestrian centre on a farm, or if the farmer has a few shoddy stables disguised as an equestrian centre - interesting question. They have just invested £45k in a gallop around one of the fields, so maybe not entirely a shoddy stables!  

Very quiet afternoon, children are firmly not sleeping at the same time, which is highly irritating and time consuming.
