i engineered fridays off. i have a feeling it will benefit me in the future when i am trying to escape for the weekend.

but this friday, many errands, followed by the first use of my new plant press, out near lake travis. collected some plants in the afternoon sun. felt good, like wednesday afternoon. there's something to all this.

traffic in this town has gotten out of control. so much worse than it used to be and these days i'd honestly venture to say it's approaching los angeles style absurdity.

barely made my meeting with prof. richardson with a couple minutes to spare. he wanted to meet with each student one-on-one to get to know them - all for that. he's a good guy.
