Courting couple...

...on  the Common.

Two trips to Wooler Common today. On the first, in the morning, MrM walked round the usual path with Louie while I walked (at a slightly faster pace) up the road to the point where it's closed to vehicles (extra), and then back to the car park. Not far, but far enough! Maybe next time I'll venture a bit further for views of the higher hills...

On the second trip, in the afternoon, I walked around the path with MrM and Louie (at snail's pace). Lots of birdlife! Including Mrs Mallard (extra), who was creating ripples on the pond as she had a preening session. And the courting couple, necking in the tree!
