The Scream ............... In Camouflage

It has been quite a nice day today - all day ........... which is most unusual.

I had a bit of a laugh regarding the lost street sweeper. The driver got out of the cab with a brush to clear a twig about 2' long and the thickness of a pencil.
A pound to a penny he doesn't clear the leaf litter under the main road which is about an inch thick, soaking wet and slippery as hell.

This is a compromise between depth of focus and shutter speed - a deeper DOF got camera shake.
It was hard enough to get anything in focus as it was due to it being a manual focus lens with the light hitting a dirty screen.

The burn was probably cleaner than screen - and definitely cleaner than the path ...... probably drier too.
It is costing a fortune in cleaning the towels used to clean/dry the dog!

Isn't nature wonderful?
All these super patterns and subtle colours in a patch of tree bark about 3"x2".

The Scream is the entrance to somebody's home judging by the path leading to it - I suspect a rabbit or twelve.

SWMBO got a visit from her mother and one of her sisters at lunchtime ..... and a phone call from The Wicked Witch - all wishing her luck for tomorrow. Personally, I wish for skill from the surgeon and his team.
