Bully

 HH woke early and managed to get back to sleep. I didn't, so plodded off towards the beach. A worrying phone call from younger daughter later, as I was leaving for the gym. Her 9-year-old daughter was subjected to racist and even physical abuse in the park yesterday,by a boy in the year ahead of her at school. He kicked her hard on the knee during a football game and when she objected, used shattering language, told her to get back to her country (he knows she's Brazilian, although she was born and has lived her whole life in the UK) and that she should kill herself. How do you handle that much hate in a 10-year-old boy? And how about the mental effects on the victim, not to mention the very real danger of an escalation in the violence?
