Lazy September morning

September morning, we danced until the night became a brand new day.....
some classic songs feature the month of September, Neil Diamond, Earth Wind & Fire, Carole King and Green Day amongst my faves. well despite the classic lyrics, i didn't dance until Friday night became a brand new day. i did manage a mini lie in though!

had a lazy morning, sorting post, renewing landlord insurance, then after lunch i entered my own celebrity jungle. seriously, my garden is a jungle. as i was hacking down the grass i put my trousers in my socks, cos of fear of grass snakes!!
plan is to clear all the bottom end, plant some new raspberry plants, get a new shed and get some chickens!! the blip for today is a picture of my first apple this season. picked from the tree my dad got me, a delicious worcester permian, the first of many.

finished at 3 and then got ready for my friend Sal's 50th birthday tea party, which was lovely. great to see her, and Hannah too. great food, came home feeling stuffed!

got to bed about midnight, a good saturday
