It's a mystery?

Today I had to have my afternoon walk in the morning because Ann was going out for lunch and she didn't know what time she'd be back. It's her birthday tomorrow so apparently my routine is going to be really disrupted this week because she's going to spend the whole week eating and drinking with various people. That's not the mystery....................... she spends a lot of time eating and drinking.


The mystery is.......................... I went for a little extra walk when she came home and we went across this railway bridge which is quite close to where we live. We never, ever see trains going along this track and although we knew the line was still in use, someone told Ann that the only train that uses it, is a freight train, which goes along it about once a day.


Today I was just about to go across the bridge when a train came along the line. And it wasn't a freight train. It was a passenger train which was very, very strange. So obviously when we got home Ann had to do a bit of googling to find out what was going on.


Apparently the only time a passenger train uses this particular line is if it has been diverted. But could we find any information about where it had been diverted from and where it was going?.................... We could not.


It's a mystery???
