Feels like Spring

15-16 degrees C  and actually warm in the afternoon when I got a very swift walk in to look for migrant birds.  No new ones today and Curlew an Lapwing are still low numbers on the west side of Bleaklow.

My last shot of the day was this one with all the contrails behind Shire Hill.

Dad safely in bed tonight after a disappearing act yesterday at this time - Its good to have caring helpful neighbours ( and not so near neighbours) who took him in and found out who he was.

Today he enjoyed a good walk in the park in the afternoon as we sat on a seat in the Rose Garden he was hoping someone might bring him a cup of tea - "we should have put up a flask" :-)
