Monkey see

A long day, mostly spent eating. A slow start, then a leisurely stroll via some light shopping to lunch at a fabulously funky restaurant by the water which - along with fabulous food that I could have eaten all day - had these light fittings.

More meandering shopping, then home for a seemingly endless crossword, more fizz, and out for dinner. Tonight's restaurant was the kind where you just eat what you are given. And we were happy to eat pretty much all of what was put in front of us.

Home again and an early night is mooted so we have enough time for eating tomorrow. (Early as in 1am, I should just note).

And next year's destination has been chosen: Madrid.
