Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

Don't you just love it ...

... when a day comes together?

I was up again at 5am - cat duty, Dylan being very unsettled. Worse than when we had young children. But we had a lovely day - as well as some vey productive sorting and cleaning, we went to Watts Gallery and had a rather fab time looking at the art (including an exhibition by young offenders). Also a very superior Welsh Rarebit. And maybe a scone. And a flat white. And this choir who were singing to raise funds for three local charities and who were really lovely. I mean, not the best choir in the world maybe but certainly one of the nicest. Rather like Mrs Taphead yesterday, they were everyday decent people, real heroes doing good deeds in a wicked world.

The afternoon was about DIY - fixing up conservatory blinds that we had had tailor made on the internet. Four down, two to go - leaving the last of them for tomorrow evening, it's a tiring business, making a Venetian blind.

Couple of extras. It really has been a good day.
