Milkshake Lips

Foreveryoung usually looks after Ethan on Mondays for me, but she's away on her holidays just now. So, hubbie took the day off work for a Daddy and Ethan day instead.

It should have worked out well, as the remainder of our new carpets were due to be fitted today so it meant he was around for that too. However at lunchtime, the carpet fitters phoned to say they couldn't make it after all. We weren't impressed, as we've ripped all the old carpets out and the house is currently bare floorboards with spiky carpet grippers all over the place, including the staircase. Not ideal with a 2 year old as we can't even let him walk up the stairs by himself while it's like this.

They promised to phone back early evening to let us know if they can come out tomorrow but even after phoning them to chase them up we're still non the wiser.

Still, at least the bonus of having hubbie around today was that he brought me tea and toast for breakfast while I was working and then a home made milkshake in the afternoon. As this pic shows, Ethan rather enjoyed the milkshake too!
