Tractor ride

We met up with my lovely friend Daisy and her two boys today at a local children's farm, after about a week of a slightly off-colour toddler and a rubbish few days it was just the perfect tonic.    The toddler ran off lots of energy with his mate Jack, I got to have a lovely time with my friend and the little one, he had a pretty good time too.  The farm has tractor rides - the eldest loved it, the youngest - he spent most of it in tears, poor thing. We saw three deer out on the ride and it was hard not to think how a similar ride around my parents in law farm would have so much amazing wildlife.

Everyone in the house is feeling a million times better after the morning out, the eldest came back full of joy, the student had peace and quiet for many hours (and is almost finished his assignment) and to top it off, the youngest has slept through the night for the last three nights.  Pretty happy house.
