London to Bradford

Breakfast in London and dinner in Bradford.

I started the day with a stroll to Tate Britain and managed to get a ticket for the 10:00 am entry to the Hockney exhibition. What a spectacular show and whilst busy, it was not as crowded as I had anticipated.

I finished the day with Harriet and her friend Tanner at the lates exhibition at the Science and Media Museum in Bradford. What a show they put on here too!

The Lates enabled us to preview "Wonderlab", due to open on Saturday, as well as have UV face painting (extra), experiment with sound, try out Virtual Reality and strobe photography.

The the photo shows an experiment for capturing photographs of water droplets. We could set the camera timer by the millisecond so as to capture the drop at various positions as it fell. It's interesting to see an inverted image of Harriet in the drop itself.

We can't however forget the events of yesterday. The flags throughout the country are at half-mast (extra).
