Mr C has put wire around the tulips to protect them from the deer which like munching on the buds. He has also put fencing around the rose garden - even more than last year.

I have not been idle either - I made carrot, sweet potato and coriander soup, spinach and mushroom lasagne and chopped fruit for pudding. Friends are coming for a 'kitchen' supper - Cameron is not invited.
