And some Lavender

These beautiful Mother's Day flowers arrived today - delivered on a Sunday - amazing! They arrived in a flat pack, carefully wrapped. My daughters know exactly what I like - flowers that whisper rather than shout. And a subtle palette of colours. And there is a bit of lavender to remind me of a special trip we are making later in the year.

NB. I have rearranged the flowers a bit since I took this picture, as the blooms have now opened out wonderfully, but I do not really like 'arranged' flowers. Perhaps as well, since my flower arranging skills are about on a par with my flower photography skills - not that good. 

Another lovely day and it was still light at 7pm . . .
