Mum’s little helper!

I looked out of a front window this morning to see dozens of sparrows checking out the plants for ‘goodies’.
 
Getting a picture was a bit tricky as the blinds were causing reflections on the window glass.
 
A wonderful day on all counts. B made breakfast (not unusual, but a bit more special!!) We got on with a variety of jobs and I had just started cutting the next set of material strips for my quilt when R arrived with coffee and cake in hand.
 
We all sat in the garden to enjoy the sunshine and catch up on the news. The girls hovered up the spare bird seeds, and Pippa followed B around whilst he was working. One of the jobs done was recycling some polystyrene boxes to use as planters. They look much better with a coat of paint. (In extras)
