Flamingo Land

Today we went to Flamingo Land. It was great fun and Kerr had an absolute ball.

The day was filled with rides - helicopters, clowns, carousels, cars, tractors, aeroplanes, you name it, Kerr went on it. I think he was a bit surprised that he didn't have to beg us to have a go on a ride. We were practically forcing him on them in order to get our money's worth from the hefty entry fee.

There is also a zoo part to Flamingo Land which we had a good time wandering around.

It was so busy today with it being a hot and sunny day, that we left mid afternoon. Kerr was shattered and had a much needed nap in the car.

We then ended up on the beach at the North Bay. Kerr was full of energy again after his nap and played for a couple of hours in the sand. He found some great sandcastles and giant holes which had been made by others earlier in the day, and claimed them for himself. Ice cream cones all round before heading back to the caravan exhausted, covered in sand, but happy.
