A morning at the allotment.  I transplanted a rhubarb that was growing hidden in an overgrown border (a bit late in the year to do this but hopefully it will survive), and planted in a bed, some raspberry canes which were growing under my bench.  I also managed to collect some manure from the local field of horses and dig that in to some of the allotment beds.  I need quite a lot more but at least I have made a start.  This afternoon I moved a few plants in the garden and planted some hardy salad leaves and peas.  Its been a glorious sunny day.  The birds were in full song, including a black cap which sang away as I worked at the allotment.
