Autumn

From the weather being an absolute inferno ...then humidity through the roof to the chilly evening of Autumn....it finally feels like its arrived.

My duvet is a very dangerous thing and it was hard to get out of bed this morning..it was so snuggly and warm. Flynn and I cuddled up and watched a doco on Orkney.

I feel a little guilty being so comfy and dry when the clean up continues with intermittent rain...there are folk who are homeless having to bunk in at the church...not so comfy and dry.
The communtity is awesome but there are more sad stories to be told.
A good one though is that a little girl saw her Guinea Pigs in their cage get washed away only to find them later stuck in a tree just a little worse for wear.

This shrivelled sunflower reminded me of  a basket of Autumn colours.
